This original design and stunning masterpiece was created using black leather dye and wild fern leaf impressions onto natural buttero vegetable-tanned leather by the Walpier tannery. The dye is absorbed by the leather fibers and a sealant is applied as a top finish.
Every piece of this unique bag has fern impressions, from the handles to the inside pocket and inside bottom panel.
The Wild Fern Bag features a feminine curved top, rolled handles, an inside pocket, brass stud feet and magnet bridge closure.
Sized for a perfect every day bag, measuring 13” wide by 10” high by 3.5” deep. Handles have a comfortable 9” drop length.
This gorgeous bag is entirely sewn by hand with waxed thread and saddle-stitching technique. All the bag’s edges are burnished and sealed. The top of the bag features generous inside top facings to help keep its shape.
