The Artist’s Tote in White Waxed Black is hand-stitched using a stunning Italian vegetable-tanned leather by Virgilio Conceria. The leather surface is coated with a white wax that will patina to reveal a lovely charcoal black.

This gorgeous bag feels is smooth and soft, yet has a firm temper that will keep its classic shape.

Sewn entirely by hand using saddle-stitching technique with waxed thread, this bag features an inside phone pocket, rolled handles and a brass button stud closure. Solid brass feet grace the bottom.

The Artist’s Tote is an original design with elegant ribbon-like handles. A perfect everyday bag sized at 16” across at the top, 13” across at the bottom, 4” wide by 10” high. Handles have a shorter 6” drop length.

Expect this slow-made bag to wear beautifully over time, becoming shinier and darker in color. The white wax will slowly wear off, providing a unique user experience as it patinas.

Most of all, expect this stunning original to last a lifetime.

*Speed up the patina process by using a boars hair brush to buff off the white wax. Buff in a well-ventilated area as the wax buffs to a fine powder.
