This hand-sewn Envelope Clutch is finely crafted using a stunning Italian leather with a white waxed coating, by Virgilio Conceria tannery. Surprisingly soft to the touch, this unique leather will patina over time to reveal a dark, charcoal black color.
The classic Envelope Clutch features a detachable braided wristlet, inside pocket and a brass snap closure. The arc shaped bottom provides a comfortable hand-hold.
This original design is hand-stitched using grey and cream colored waxed thread to last a lifetime of use.

Expect this gorgeous clutch to wear beautifully over time, becoming shinier and darker. To speed up the patina process and buff the waxy surface, use a boars hair brush. The wax will become a fine power as it is brushed, revealing the dark color underneath.
